A jealous teenager drove at speed to a beach and attacked a man with a wheel brace after seeing a Snapchat image of the victim and his ex-girlfriend, a court heard today (FRI). Evan Thomas-Heath, 19, of Stryd y Plas, Nefyn, received a four months suspended term of detention and must do 100 hours unpaid work. A restraining order was made. The consequences could have been much worse than cuts. Recorder Philpotts added :”The reason you assaulted Ben Williams was out of jealousy.” Thomas-Heath admitted assault causing actual bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon at Llanbedrog, Gwynedd.
