March 19, 2026, 12:32 p.m. ET A former Jefferson Schools coach is facing a misdemeanor charge following an allegation of inappropriate Snapchat messages to a high school student. Kevin Carter, 36, was charged with telecommunications services-malicious use Feb. 9. His bond was set at $500. Carter declined to comment when contacted by the Monroe News.’
