Yoder, 43, of Williamsport.The two girls testified Thursday about his abusive conduct while defense attorney Kyle W. Rude in his opening statement said there is no Snapchat evidence to support their allegations.The prosecution is expected to rest when court reconvenes Friday morning, but first Judge Eric R. Linhardt will decide if the prosecution may enter Yoder’s school district disciplinary record should he decide to testify.The key prosecution witness was a girl, now 18, who claimed when she was in 10th grade that Yoder in his classroom separated the strings on her ripped jeans and wrote on her upper right thigh.She also recounted a May 2021 Snapchat exchange between herself and Yoder that occurred when students were being taught remotely because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
