In Las Vegas, many small businesses and even larger ones are using these social media groups to brand and advertise their services and goods to the Latino community. There are quite a few of the ‘La Pulga de Las Vegas…’ groups on Facebook that translated, in short means The Flea of Las Vegas or The Flea. These buy-sell group pages are modeled like a traditional Flea Market filled with unique items from all over the world and both new and used. Now, this Flea Market has also gone digital in ‘La Pulga’ Facebook Groups. La Pulga is mostly popular among Spanish-speaking Latinx communities, with many looking to sell or buy furniture, food, yard sale-like items, landscaping services, Tupperware or cosmetics, while others look for work, highlight their skills or offer professional services.
