By Isabella Alves / Journal Staff Writer Published: Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at 10:05pmUpdated: Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at 11:08pm Copyright © 2020 Albuquerque JournalSANTA FE – A Las Vegas, N.M., man has been accused of child sex crimes and blackmailing a 15-year-old girl by threatening to send nude photos and pornographic videos of her to her mother via social media.Richard Paul Pacheco, 20, is charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual penetration, three counts of sexual exploitation of children, child solicitation by electronic communication device and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.The girl originally approached Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office deputies in July and charges were filed against Pacheco on Dec. 7.The girl told deputies she met Pacheco on Facebook when she was 14 years old, and he was 19. The two began communicating on Facebook and later Snapchat, according to court documents.On Snapchat, the two sent nude photos and videos to each other. In July 2019, Pacheco allegedly picked the girl up after she sneaked out of her house and they had sex, according to court documents. During one of the encounters, Pacheco asked to film the sexual intercourse but she declined.
