LIMA — Layne’s Chicken Fingers has announced its grand opening for its Lima location, set for Saturday, Aug. 15 at 951 N. Cable Road. Layne’s Chicken Fingers first opened in 1994 in College Station, Texas, and is known for its hand-breaded chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and its signature Layne’s sauce. Customers will be able to choose between regular or spicy chicken fingers, along with its club sandwich, chicken wraps and hand-spun milkshakes. The first location to be opened by owner/operators Doug and Andrew McGuire, the Lima location is the first of an expanding number of locations across central Ohio. “We’re excited to introduce Layne’s Chicken Fingers to the Lima community,” operations manager Jeff Caskey said in a statement. “Our goal is simple: serve exceptional food, provide genuine hospitality and become a valued member of the Lima community.”
