Man sued for N$1 million over prison sex WhatsApp insultsNews – National | 2022-09-29Page no: 1by Eino VatileniPhoto for illustrative purposes onlyA WINDHOEK resident is suing a Gobabis football club owner for N$1 million over alleged libellous remarks about him on a WhatsApp group about two years ago.In a case filed at the Windhoek High Court on Monday, Jermano Eiseb is claiming that Maleagi Ngarizemo, who is the owner of Young African Football Club, in August 2020 wrote on a WhatsApp group that he had heard that Eiseb had been sexually assaulted while in prison. In the claim he filed at the court, Eiseb alleged that Ngarizemo claimed his family is “dying of diseases”, adding that Eiseb should get them antiretroviral (ARV) treatment.Eiseb is further alleging that Ngarizemo was told by members of the WhatsApp group to stop insulting Eiseb, which he ignored.Ngarizemo allegedly went on and loaded the records of previous cases in which Eiseb had been involved onto the WhatsApp group.
