CARTER IS BEING HELD Mebane man charged with exploitation of a minor A Mebane man is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.Seth Carter was arrested Friday when the sheriff’s office conducted a search warrant.Investigators say in early December 2021, members of the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation Team (HET) investigated a cyber tip related to someone uploading child sexual abuse material to Snapchat. The investigation led deputies to a suspect living on Brundage Lane in Mebane, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.The HET and Special Victims Unit with the sheriff’s office say they found files, images and videos of child sexual abuse material.
