LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s golf team closes the regular season when the Wildcats host a field of 17 teams for the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the University Club of Kentucky. The 54-hole tournament will be contested on the UClub’s Big Blue Course (par 71, 7013 yards), with 36 holes of competition on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday. Play will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start each day. Admission is free for the public. It marks the first time UK men’s golf has hosted a tournament at UClub since 2015. The Wildcats have played host for the Cullan Brown Collegiate each of the past two seasons at Lexington Country Club. Kentucky’s lineup will be headed by senior captain, Jack Schoenberger, who has two top 15 finishes this spring, including a runner-up result at the Colleton River Collegiate. Schoenberger will be followed by freshman Cole Stockard, who leads the Cats in scoring average on the season at 71.61. Stockard has a team-best 14 rounds at par-or-better and has been the team’s top finisher in each of the last two events. Sophomore Jacob Lang will play out of a third spot in the lineup
