By: Emily Blount, Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant ITHACA, N.Y. — The St. Bonaventure men’s swimming and diving team dropped their second dual meet of the weekend at Cornell, 146-86. Maxwell Murray highlighted the day for the Bonnies with a win in the 500-freestyle. He finished the race with a time of 4:37.52. The senior also collected a second-place finish in the 200-freestyle. With a time of 1:23.80, the 200-freestyle relay team of Jerrell Sackett, Sam Matthews, Tanner Falls, and Carlos Hidalgo collected a win and 11 points for the Brown and White. Other top finishers for St. Bonaventure included Nicholas Nakaya who won the 200-breaststroke and Alexander Behr who finished second in the 200-butterfly with a time of 1:53.10. Nakaya also tallied a third-place finish in the 200-IM while Luigi Temines’ time of 1:51.96 in the 200-backstroke earned him second place.
