The 37-year-old was a two-time All-Star who also spent time with the Tigers, Nationals, Athletics, White Sox and Phillies. The third baseman, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the sixth round of the 2008 draft. He made his MLB debut for the Pirates against the New York Mets on May 31, 2011. His final game came against Pittsburgh – for the Phillies – back in July 2023. Nearly two years on, Harrison announced his retirement from baseball in a touching statement on social media.  ‘This ride was nothing short of amazing!’ he wrote before paying tribute to his parents.
