Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum tipped off the partnership on Monday by hosting a Q&A discussion with fans on the league’s subreddit. Tatum’s Ask Me Anything discussion was sponsored by potato chip brand Ruffles. Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis is also planned to host an AMA on Reddit later this season. The r/NBA subreddit has 3.9 million members. The NFL formed a similar deal with Reddit in 2019. The NBA’s new deal, which also includes WNBA content posted to Reddit, comes almost two years after the NBA helped ban a former Reddit page that hosted pirated streams of NBA games.
