I say the latter of misunderstood because I don’t think people gave me an unbiased view. And it wasn’t until later on in my career where I really understood. In the NFL, there is a pretty boy in the league. Cry, say Tom. There is a Golden Boy in the league, which you’d probably say Peyton, Manny. Then there’s like the Angel of the league. You probably say Tim Tebow. And then there’s the villain. And I was a villain just from a marketing perspective, learned a lot and being able to embrace that.
