EXCLUSIVE: Netflix is bringing yet another internet star’s offerings to the premium subscription service. The streamer has struck a deal with celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni to bring his YouTube content to the platform later this year, Deadline can reveal exclusively. Audiences will soon be able to watch DiGiovanni’s entire back catalogue of cooking videos, as well as all new content from both the “Nick DiGiovanni” and “Nick’s Kitchen” channels, which will drop on Netflix day-and-date with YouTube. “Food brings people together — that’s been my mission from day one. With Netflix, the table gets a whole lot bigger, and everyone’s invited,” DiGiovanni said in a statement on Wednesday. DiGiovanni boasts more than 60M followers across social media platforms. This deal is yet another example of Netflix’s recent push into podcasts, which has long been a big viewing category on YouTube.
