ITHACA, N.Y. — In a 101-page civil complaint filed in the New York Supreme Court, a former Cornell student alleges heinous acts of sexual violence and drug abuse perpetrated by multiple Cornell fraternity brothers. The plaintiff, listed only as “Jane Doe” to protect her identity, is filing the lawsuit against Cornell University, the Chi Phi fraternity, Alpha Beta House Corporation, Delta Delta Delta sorority, Moonies Bar & Nightclub, and several other individuals, including Alumni advisors. The plaintiff says she was 20-years-old at the time of the incident, which occurred the evening of October 19, 2024, into the morning of October 20, 2024. The lawsuit claims she was assaulted by as many as seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity. The complaint digs into specific details of the alleged events that transpired before, during, and after the assault.
