North Dakota teen accused of creating child porn while posing as babysitter on Facebook

MANDAN, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A teen in Mandan is facing several charges for crimes against children after attempting to gain babysitting jobs on Facebook. Valley News Live is choosing not to name the 16-year-old at this time. He was found to be part of several Facebook groups with the names: Babysitting Jobs for Ages 13-18, Babysitting Group and Babysitter Needed. According to court documents, messages sent by his Facebook page include “I am looking for kids between the ages of 4-8 to babysit in Mandan” and “I prefer girls, but I also babysit boys”. The teen was reportedly found to be in possession of hundreds of photos/videos depicting young children across multiple devices. He was allegedly distributing child sex abuse material via gmail, including images he created of a 6-year-old girl. Court documents detail messages he allegedly sent stating: “I’m a pedophile”, “I’m sorry that I like small. Like really small,” and “If not her it’s gonna end up being a different girl”.
