On paper, it looked like he had reached a major career milestone, but internally he said he felt increasingly disconnected from his work. A big reason for that was realizing he had already achieved the financial goals he set for himself as a kid. He wanted to own a home, support his parents financially, and give his family the peace of mind that comes from never having to think twice about everyday financial decisions.
