Two Oakland women allegedly carjacked an older adult couple in Healdsburg, forcing the husband to drive them away before a police pursuit led to their arrest on Highway 101. Davina Humphrey, 51, and Amina Vaden, 24, face charges including carjacking, kidnapping, robbery and child abuse, according to Healdsburg police. The child abuse allegation stems from a child who was with the women during the crime. The two were being held Monday at the Sonoma County jail on $1 million bail each. The carjacking happened around 5:30 p.m. near Byron Gibbs Park at Prentice and Sunnyvale drives and appeared to involve random victims, police said. The victims, a couple in their 70s from the East Bay, were returning to their vehicle when they encountered one of the suspects, who appeared to need help. As they offered assistance, she pulled a gun and demanded the wife’s belongings, striking her in the head, police said.
