Pa. teacher faces federal charges after allegedly targeting underage girls on Snapchat A Montgomery County elementary school teacher is facing federal charges after being accused of targeting dozens of young girls online. 39-year-old Eric Sanville, a former teacher at Gwynedd Square Elementary School, is facing decades behind bars after investigators say he used Snapchat to manipulate children as young as eight years old. According to court documents obtained by NBC10, the investigation began in July after Snapchat reported two accounts that appeared to be targeting young girls to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators say the IP addresses tied to those accounts led them to Sanville. Court documents say that Sanville directed girls on how to take nude pictures while pretending to be a teenage boy by using a picture he found on Facebook. Once the allegations came to light, Sanville was ordered off school property and ordered to have no contact with students. Police do not believe any of the children involved attend any of the schools in the North Penn School District, including the school where Sanville was a teacher.
