Plans have been submitted to build padel courts and a clubhouse at an overflow car park at the RAF base in Odiham. Mission Padel Ltd has asked Hart District Council for prior approval to build five covered padel courts on land used as an overflow carpark for detached personnel at the RAF Odiham base. The plans also include a clubhouse, with a food and beverage facility, wellness areas and golf simulators. 3D perspective of the site (Image: Mission Padel Ltd/Hart District Council) The facilities will be for the sole use of the Ministry of Defence, for RAF personnel and their family members to ‘aid in their physical training and provide an area where they and their families can socialise’ according to the developer. The company said the site will be built on an existing car park that’s now surplus to requirements. There will be a wellness and changing area with changing cabins and a sauna, a golf simulation studio, as well as a clubhouse with a large internal seating area and an upstairs deck.
