PlayStation Showcase Twitch Chat Spammed By Destiny 3 Fans – Kotaku

PlayStation streamed a new State of Play showcase to announce PS5 games and show off trailers, but all anyone cared about in the Twitch chat was Destiny 3 and how Bungie reportedly isn’t working on it. Demands for a sequel to the loot shooter that is unexpectedly sunsetting later this month spammed the channel through the hour-long event. While Wolverine was busy stabbing random goons onscreen, viewers in the Twitch chat kept writing things like #WeWantDestiny3 and flooding the rapidly updating text box with a Destiny 3 emote created by Destiny streamer Aztecross. The content creator had previously announced he would never play Marathon again if Bungie moved ahead with killing off Destiny 2. “I don’t want to play Marathon,” he said last month. “I’ll play it maybe seasonally. I may jump in a few weeks, but I want Destiny. I want Destiny 3. I want this universe expanded. And Marathon, if I have to f*cking bury you myself to send that message, I shall.
