Lock Haven, Pa. — A 34-year-old man is accused of threatening to kill several people on Facebook after they reacted to or commented on a post about him. Michael Anthony Germello of Lock Haven was charged by city police with one misdemeanor count of terroristic threats in a complaint filed Sept. 29. A woman told Officer Paul Gramley that she had posted a laughing reaction to a Facebook post about Germello. At 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, she said, she received a message request from Germello, who she told police she does not know and is not friends with on social media. She gave police screenshots of the messages. According to the affidavit, Germello wrote, “You’re f***ing dead for disrespecting me,” and said several times that he had spent two and a half years in prison and was not afraid to go back. “I stabbed somebody and went to jail … that’s what I went for,” one message said, according to the affidavit. Others called her a “disrespectful” vulgar name and warned her to “f*** around and find out.” Germello was jailed in 2014 after pleading guilty to simple assault and terroristic threat charges, according to court records.
