San Angelo Man Indicted for Possessing Obscene Images of Young Children

SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo man has been indicted for possessing pornographic images of young children using the Snapchat app on his phone. Zachary Tucker Green, 25, was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in June 2023 for Possession of Child Pornography. According to court documents, in February 2022, a Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division Special Agent began conducted a child pornography investigation following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The cyber tip told the investigator that on April 2, 2021, a Snapchat account uploaded child pornography. The video showed an adult man sexually assaulting a prepubescent child. The Snapchat account that had uploaded the video returned a phone number and it was determined that the number belonged to Green. On February 11, 2022, two special agents with the DPS located Green at his place of employment. The agents encountered Green an informed him that he did not have to speak with officers and was free to leave at any time. Green agreed to speak with the investigators.
