Adam Piggott, aged 36, targeted several women’s TikTok, Facebook and email accounts in August last year. He also found a way to get into their clothes shopping accounts with retailers including BooHoo and I Saw It First. Piggott, of Lime Street, Coleham, Shrewsbury, pleaded guilty at a remote Shrewsbury Crown Court hearing to 13 charges of causing a computer to perform a function to secure/enable unauthorised access to a program/data. Kevin Jones, mitigating, accepted that these offences put Piggott in breach of his suspended sentence and asked for the case to be adjourned for a pre-sentence report, and so it could be conducted in person, rather than over a video link.
