A “dangerous” tech addict who used his computer skills to hack the Snapchat accounts of seven teenage girls to try and get them to send indecent images has been jailed for five years. Robert Parsons, 22, committed a catalogue of offences in breach of existing sexual harm prevention orders (SHPO) and even before, and after, he was sentenced by judge at Bradford Crown Court in January last year. On that occasion Parsons, formerly of Wyke, Bradford, but now locked up at HMP Leeds, was given an 12-month community order and made the subject of a five-year SHPO, but the prolific offender continued to target teenage victims. For the latest crime news, click here Today (Thurs) Judge Andrew Hatton said Parsons had caused severe psychological trauma to the victims aged between 14 and 19 and he was satisfied that the defendant met the criteria for an extended sentence as a dangerous offender.
