Snapchat Announces The Arrival Of My Places On Snap Map

Snap Map is launching My Places, a new way to find personalized recommendations from friends and the global Snapchat community.In an effort to make it easier for Snapchatters to explore venues and amenities in a world that’s opening up again, Snapchat is introducing a new feature to Snap Map called My Places.With My Places, users of the platform can discover more than 30 million businesses, log their favorite local spots, and even find personalized recommendations informed by their friends as well as by the wider global Snapchat community.Related | Snapchat Powers Up Snap Maps With StreetCredThe new feature includes three main tabs: visited (which lists the latest places the user has checked into), favorites (which saves your places of choice), and popular (which uses an algorithm to provide personalized recommendations on where to go based on the users’ actual location).
