Pacific Daily NewsThe public is invited to tune into a series of “Tech Talks” and esports matches this week as part of the University of Guam Office of Information Technology’s third annual Tech Fest.The event this year focuses on the theme of “Tech’s New Normal” and highlights how technology has bridged people together, helped education and sparked new hobbies during the pandemic. “It’s been 15 months of pandemic living … so we wanted to focus on how things are being done now,” said Manny Hechanova, the university’s interim chief information officer, in a news release. The free conference is targeted toward high school, college, graduate and anyone interested in technology.
