OK, that’s completely untrue, but it might have gotten it right this time.According to a map created by SportsInsider about who fans across the U.S. believe should earn 2021 NBA MVP honors, most of America believes it should be Warriors star Steph Curry.And who are we to argue?The map is based on geotagged Twitter data from the past month, which measured 300,000 tweets. Steph dominated with 31 states saying he deserved the top honor. Right behind him was Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokić, who has 14 states vying for him.Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard also all received some votes.But on to Steph’s numbers. He’s averaging an NBA-best 31.1 points per game this season. In addition to that, he’s putting up 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game with a .922 free throw percentage and .609 effective field goal percentage.
