‘The Batman’ director Matt Reeves found a way to beat those leaking scenes and spoilers from his upcoming film, by officially releasing the clip in stunning 4K. With the key funeral scene having previously leaked online, director Reeves took to Twitter to release the 2.45-minute clip for all to see. “Many of you may have seen this scene from [The Batman] floating around online, so I decided to put it on my Vimeo in 4K,” Reeves tweeted. The scene was also uploaded to Warner Bros. Pictures’ official YouTube channel. The scene in question sees Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne attending the funeral of former Gotham City Mayor, Don Mitchell Jr. played by Rupert Penry-Jones. As first seen in the trailer, the service proceedings are interrupted by Paul Dano’s Riddler who sends a car right through the church pews and onto the altar.
