That went well. However, today, I was perusing the internet and read that a man had tried to get his own Snapchat AI to leave him on read. This piqued my curiosity, as I’m pretty used to people leaving me on read, so I wanted to see what would happen when I asked Alfred, my Snapchat AI, to do it. Unsurprisingly, it did not go how I thought it would, and I ended up in an inadvertent Abbott and Costello bit. So anyway. I’ve never been gaslighted (gaslit?) by Artificial Intelligence before. And I’ll tell you something – I don’t like it. I don’t like it one bit. But! I do like the stories that we have today. We’re focusing on a mock courtroom trial featuring some of Casper’s budding lawyers, as all as a tribute to fallen officers during National Police Week, and an invitation for a community remembrance event coming up.
