Netflix‘s The Witcher will return this October, Netflix announced today. So it’s only fitting that, in the sneak peek accompanying the news, Geralt of Rivia is battling a ghost. The fantasy drama’s Season 4 will hit the streaming service on Thursday, Oct. 30, TVLine has learned. The new episodes will mark the debut of Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games films) as Geralt, the character played in Seasons 1 through 3 by Henry Cavill. In the video above, Geralt goes head-to-spectral-head with a wraith. “With these words, your mortal shell shall meet my fate in fiery Hell,” he intones, unleashing the angry spirit for a battle to the finish. The official Season 4 synopsis teases a whole lot of challenges on the way for Geralt & Co: “After the Continent-altering events of Season 3,” it reads, “Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies. As their paths diverge, and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys.
