Toronto Arab Film Festival !! The Toronto Arab Film Festival (TAFF) returns for its 6th edition from June 20 to 29, 2025, with in-person screenings across Toronto and a Canada-wide virtual program. Showcasing over 40 films from more than 20 countries, TAFF is a dynamic platform for bold, diverse, and thought-provoking storytelling from the Arab world and its diaspora. The festival celebrates the richness of Arab culture through cinema, offering audiences a unique opportunity to engage with voices rarely heard in mainstream media. From fiction to documentary, shorts to features, TAFF highlights stories that challenge, inspire, and connect — making it one of the most anticipated cultural events of the summer. This year’s festival offers a dynamic program of in-person film screenings, workshops, and filmmaker Q&As, as well as a virtual selection available to audiences across Canada. The festival is also pleased to welcome a number of notable guests, including Palestinian-Canadian filmmaker Amber Fares, and Tunisian-Canadian filmmakers Mira Shaib and Kays Mejri, who will participate in select screenings and post-film discussions.
