Twitch is preparing to act against streamers who use dirty tactics to promote their views. That’s where we’re being told that they need to provide a little help. Streamer Gothalion claims Twitch sent him a message asking for his help in identifying these offenders. According to Twitch streamer Gothalion, he received an email from Twitch CEO Dan Clancy asking him to list channels in which streams are accessed by wikis. Gothalion even read a part of the email on the stream. I was the only one that influenced the debate at the time, but many streamers put their streams on a game wiki page to support their views. If you have ever visited the game wiki looking for a guide or a item, then you might have seen this. By visiting a games wiki, you basically tune into those stream without actually doing that, and this boosts the Twitch channel views. Twitch streams consider it a dirty tactic.
