The livestreaming service Twitch is back up after a lengthy outage, with the Twitch Status page also currently working as well. This comes after the company resolved an issue that was preventing elements of Twitch, such as channels and streams, from loading properly. The Issue Prevented Users From Watching Twitch Streams The well-known streaming website Twitch has momentarily gone offline due to a serious outage, which has also affected numerous other streaming pages. The streaming website displayed blank account pages or “an error has occurred” throughout the incident, giving the impression that a streamer had erased their account to some viewers. IGN writes that while the platform was experiencing issues, streaming pages are not appearing while the site is loading, leaving it strangely vacant. Both desktop and mobile users of Twitch were impacted by the outage, with iOS and Android users encountering “error loading followed channels” upon accessing the app. According to The Verge, users of Twitch mobile were also unable to find streamers using the search feature either.
