University Housing Services celebrates recipients of the Floyd Hoelting Team Player Award

Each year, University Housing Services proudly recognizes exceptional staff members with the Floyd Hoelting Team Player Award. Established in 1980 by Dr. Floyd B. Hoelting, this prestigious honor celebrates individuals who exemplify teamwork, dedication, and a commitment to supporting others. Hoelting served as director of the Office of Residential Life from 1977 to 1995 and generously endowed the award upon his retirement. Throughout his career, he championed the power of collaboration, emphasizing that success is achieved through strong, united teams. He believed in modeling teamwork in every corner of the housing organization. The award honors University Housing Services employees who demonstrate outstanding team spirit, unwavering support for colleagues, and consistent contributions toward departmental and university-wide goals. This year, Residence Hall Coordinator Isaiah May Jr. and Area Coordinator Robert Kreml have been named the recipients of the Floyd Hoelting Team Player Award.
