Vinton man sentenced 14 years for sexually exploiting minors on Snapchat – Yahoo

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – A Vinton man who sexually exploited at least nine underage girls via Snapchat was sentenced this week to 14 years in federal prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Va. Virginia State Police and the Department of Homeland Security – Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) began an investigation into Alageon Jaytwon Gravely, 22, after a concerned guardian alleged serious sexual misconduct. Investigators said they searched his cell phone and other electronic devices to find a “large amount” of sexually explicit material that primarily involved teenagers. They identified at least nine minors in sexually explicit images and videos on Gravely’s phone, some of which he reportedly created himself. Authorities also found messages from several victims where they explicitly told Gravely they were underage. He still asked them for sexual content, court documents indicate.
