Waynesboro man accused of having on-again, off-again relation with juvenile for about 10 months

WAYNESBORO- A 20 year old Borough man is facing numerous charges relating to alleged sex with an underage female. Travon Anthony Alfred Allen is free after posting bail of $25,000 following charges being levied against him including felony statutory sexual assault, felony aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 16, and misdemeanor indecent assault without the consent of the other. Waynesboro PD were alerted to a child welfare report (CY104) involving a juvenile victim less than 16 years old (although her exact age is not completely clear in court filings) and an alleged perpetrator that was 20 years old. That alleged perpetrator, WPD say, was found to be Travon Allen. Police were informed that the juvenile had multiple sexual encounters with Allen “at least once a month starting in September 2024”. In an interview with that juvenile victim, Waynesboro PD say that the sexual encounters started in September and would occur on and off as “hook ups” at Allen’s Wallace Court Apartments home in Waynesboro.
