WhatsApp recently rolled out the ability to create groups. Now a new online report suggests that Meta-owned platform is rolling out a new user interface for the app settings. As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has started rolling out the new user interface for the app settings for Android beta testers. In order to access the new interface users need to install the updated version 2.23.18.7. “After a restart of the application, we should notice a new entry point that displays our profile photo, within the top app bar that redirects to the app settings. This section is now called “You” and includes new icons and additional entry points to the most important feature: privacy settings, the contacts list, and our profile,” mentions the report. Along with this, you will also notice a new shortcut placed above the profile photo which allows users to view and share their personal QR Code. The report also adds that some other sections of the app (for example, the “Account” screen) now include new icons, contributing to delivering a modern user experience.
