WhatsApp status sharing update: Users can share status of anybody using the app

The feature is currently live on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android and it is expected to be live for regular users in the next few weeks or months. This feature is present in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.18.9 and is available for those testers who have installed the latest update of WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store. This feature is expected to be quite useful for users if they want to share their status across a wider audience.
