UNITED STATES: According to reports, Meta’s famous messaging service, WhatsApp, is working on a new feature to enhance group moderation. The new feature, called “admin review,” will allow group admins to better moderate their groups by allowing group members to report specific messages to the admin for review. – Advertisement – According to WABetaInfo, a website that tracks changes in WhatsApp builds, the feature will enable admins to delete messages that violate the group’s rules or are deemed inappropriate. Once a group member reports a message, it will be given to the administrator for consideration, and the administrator will have the option of deciding whether to remove it from the group as a whole. – Advertisement – Only group admins will be able to see the reported messages in a new section of the app under group info. The feature is expected to offer group members better control over the content shared within the group, making it easier for admins to moderate their groups.
