YBS appoints Director of Distribution – Credit Connect

Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) has announced that it has appointed Amanda Bryden as Director of Distribution and Incoming Managing Director of Accord Mortgages. Bryden brings more than 25 years of mortgage and intermediary leadership experience, most recently with Lloyds Banking Group. She has also held senior roles at HSBC, Santander and Coventry Building Society. Jeremy Duncombe, who has led Accord since 2018, will work closely with Amanda to support a smooth transition before retiring at the end of 2026. Duncombe announced he would retire earlier this year to consider portfolio opportunities. YBS managing director of homes Tom Simpson said “Attracting a leader of Amanda’s standing and experience is a clear statement of our intent. She will build on the strong foundations created by Jeremy and the Accord team, bringing deep intermediary experience and a clear mandate to grow while remaining true to what brokers value most.”
