A delivery driver who was using Snapchat when he caused a crash that killed a man has been jailed. Daniaal Iqbal, 23, has been jailed for three-and-a-half years and disqualified from driving for two years for causing the death of Peter Rushforth by dangerous driving. York Crown Court heard how Iqbal, of Toller Lane in Bradford, was using Snapchat at the wheel of his white Ford Transit van when he ploughed into the 56-year-old biker on Kirkby Road in Ripon on September 21, 2019. Iqbal had just made a delivery and had just rounded a corner when he collided with Mr Rushforth, who was travelling towards Ripon on his blue GSXR Suzuki motorbike.
