Finalists named to build 18-hole expansion for Williston Municipal Golf Course – KFYR-TV

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Williston Parks and Recreation have three construction manager at-risk finalists to expand the municipal golf course. Mid America Golf and Landscape, Heritage Golf, and Duininck Golf will interview with a park committee with the park board making the decision sometime next month. According to the Parks and recreation department, the chosen firm will be tasked with turning Williston’s municipal from a nine-hole course to a full 18. The MC Hermsdorf clubhouse was completely destroyed by fire in mid-November. The club, which has been socially engaged for decades, now faces major challenges itself and is appealing for donations. Property damage amounts to around €70,000 (approx. $76,000) Clubhouse completely burned out, premises currently inaccessible Police investigating suspected arson Fire destroys MC Hermsdorf clubhouse During the night of November 15-16, 2025, the MC Hermsdorf clubhouse on Scharnweberstraße in Reinickendorf burned down completely. According to initial estimates, the damage amounted to at least €70,000 (approx. $76,000). At around 1:30 a.m., employees at the tunnel control center noticed smoke and alerted the fire department. (AP) — Somi Lee decided to change her putting grip to be like Lydia Ko and it paid off in a big way Thursday in the CME Group Tour Championship, where the South Korean opened with an 8-under 64 for a two-shot lead in the chase for a $4 million payoff. Lee began to pull away when she went down one club to a 5-iron because of the warm conditions and set up an eagle on the par-5 17th. Her only lapse was a long three-putt bogey on the closing hole at Tiburon Golf Club. Even so, she was two shots clear of former U.S. Women’s Open champion Allisen Corpuz. Jeeno Thitikul, the No. 1 player and front-runner for LPGA player of the year, had six birdies in her round of 67, tied with three other players.
