The show Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! has now added a new marquee to the exterior of the Disney Theater in Disney California Adventure.Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! is a new show that first debuted in Disney California Adventure on May 16, 2025. The show replaced the previous Disney Jr. Dance Party that used to be housed in the Disney Theater. As hinted by the name of the new show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live is inspired by the series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ series that premiered earlier this week. This comes after President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law. According to the federal government, nearly 43 million people have federal student loan debt, so these changes impact a lot of people, and a lot of people who are thinking about borrowing in the future. If you take a federal student loan out before July 1, 2026, the main changes are with repayment plans. "PAYE and ICR are going to be phased out as of July 1 of 2028. So, if those two plans are the cheapest options for you right now, you can enroll in them and continue to make payments, but at some point, and probably if you remain in them until July of 2028, you'll be transitioned into income based repayment or IBR," said Nancy Nierman, Assistant Director, Education Debt Consumer Assistance Program (EDCAP).  » Read More

The Perry Folk Award was presented on Thursday at the Weyburn Golf Club for 2024 and 2025 to two people whose names have been mentioned for the award over the years: Winston Bailey and Lyman Sergeant. Kevin Folk explained the award isn't about how much volunteering the person does, or how many meetings they attend, but it's about their contributions to the social aspect of the clubhouse, all in line with the legacy of his late brother Perry. Winston Bailey's name is engraved on the plaque for 2024, and Lyman Sergeant's is on for 2025. "These names came up over the years, but you had to pick one, and that gets to be pretty hard," shared Kevin Folk. "I'm so happy that we can pick two to get these dates straight on the plaque." New mowers, clubhouse renovations and power upgrades will all be possible thanks to the GCBF, Queensland’s largest one-off community grants program for not-for-profit community groups. Designed to help provide services, leisure activities and opportunity for Queensland communities, golf clubs and facilities are the perfect candidates, and the large number of successful clubs is an extremely positive result. The total grants to golf clubs in Round 123 of the GCBF was just over $300,000, which is a huge endorsement in the sport from the Queensland Government. Ashgrove Golf Club in Brisbane's north-west received around $30,000, and will be using the money to begin the club's journey in sustainable and renewable energy. NAPPANEE — The new clubhouse at McCormick Creek Golf Course is moving forward and at Monday night’s meeting the council approved a resolution that allows the city to be reimbursed for any expenditures that have to be paid before the financing comes through. Mayor Phil Jenkins told the council, “We’ve done this in the past when we’ve incurred costs before financing came through. The Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club in Fort Myers has begun work on a $12.8 million expansion project.  Bonita Springs-based Curran Young Construction broke ground on the project, according to a statement.  The project at Gulf Harbour, at 14500 Vista River Drive, will expand the clubhouse from 29,810 to 42,600 square feet and introduce a complete interior renovation “designed to elevate the member experience with a modern, sophisticated aesthetic,” the release states. From the marina-facing side, meanwhile, the redesigned clubhouse will feature enhanced views of the water from both the pool and interior spaces, offering a more seamless connection to the club’s signature waterfront lifestyle.
