In recent research, LinkedIn compared the top-rated skills that professionals held in 2015, with those for the same jobs today. By identifying the skills that rose to the top, we’re able to understand the top skills in demand today.  The top 20 skills were featured in more than three-quarters of paid jobs posted globally over the last three months on LinkedIn. In order to help job seekers future-proof their careers, LinkedIn content creators, who are experts within their fields, will be hosting training sessions and sharing their expertise. This is a great example of how different platforms can utilise content creators in different ways. Stephanie Wright selflessly gave a significant amount of time back to District 3 and other communities in Snohomish County.  I think that makes it that much more important for Democratic PCOs to get her replacement right. There are several names that have also given back selflessly to our community and that is also wonderful, but I think expanding our pool of community representation beyond the same regular names would give the county a broader perspective to tackle the issues that seem to plague our region.  More importantly, we need a representative that has the capacity to do the full job! I am fully confident that Chris Eck is that person and has demonstrated that she is that leader. She has practical hands-on experience working with our most vulnerable populations and understands the administrative needs required to run these programs which will help ensure the county budget reflects what is realistic and based on the need.  She is a mother, a cancer survivor and with her planning commission experience, she is the full package. If you were just looking at his LinkedIn page, you’d certainly think Mai Linzheng was a top-notch engineer. With a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua, China’s top university, and a master’s degree in semiconductor manufacturing from UCLA, Mai began his career at Intel and KBR, a space tech company, before ending up at SpaceX in 2013. Having spent the past eight years and nine months working in the human race to space, he’s now a senior technician. Except all is not as it seems.  Upon closer inspection, there are plenty of red flags: Despite having been in the US for 18 years, Mai has written all his job titles, degrees, and company locations in Chinese. His bachelor's degree is in business management, even though his alma mater, Tsinghua, only offers that degree to student athletes, and Mai was not one. The professional networking company was deep in the midst of a design for its new headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, when the pandemic upended almost everything about how the company envisioned its new offices.“Prior to the pandemic, the equation was how many people can we fit?” says Lisa Britz, LinkedIn’s director of workplace design. For LinkedIn and many companies like it, the pandemic led to a rapid pivot to working from home, bringing the idea of set and conventional workplaces into question. Designing an office for more than 1,000 workers who may be often or even always working remotely changed the parameters shaping the new building, Britz says. “It’s much more complex than a one-to-one equation of hiring somebody and adding more space.”Working with the architecture firm NBBJ, LinkedIn paused its office redesign, which had been set to open in April 2020, to take these changes into account. People usually post professional updates or share inspiring stories on LinkedIn. However, this man posted something bizarre on the professional networking platform, and it has divided netizens. The man named Alexander Cohen shared how he saved his company some expenses while on a business trip by cooking a meal in a hotel room.In the now-viral LinkedIn post, Cohen shared that he cooked chicken in a coffee machine with butter and garlic. "I'm traveling for work and instead of eating a fancy dinner out, I’ve decided to cook a cheaper meal in the hotel room.
