#vibecoding #maternityleave #tech | Business Insider – LinkedIn

Business Insider’s Post Laura Zaccaria never studied anything related to coding. Her husband started to dabble with vibe coding. He replicated her not-for-profit yoga organization website and sent her the link. He was like, "See what you can do now in a couple of hours?" She was quite intrigued. He was going to sign up for a class called Code with AI in June. He asked her, "Why don't you come with me?" Zaccaria supposes what he was trying to do was nudge her into exploring something else. Becoming a mother was a very life-altering experience — suddenly, her baby became the center of her world. She went along with him. It's a capsule of time before going back to work, and in a career, you rarely get that, Zaccaria says. Film at Lincoln Center, Rolex Kick Off NYFF With ‘After the Hunt’ – The Hollywood Reporter

There was a lot of love and sparkle on Friday at the opening night of the 63rd New York Film Festival, presented by Film at Lincoln Center in partnership with Rolex. It began when director Luca Guadagnino (in a glittering jacket) and Julia Roberts (in a voluminous pantsuit and bedazzled tie) had a sustained embrace on the balcony of Alice Tully Hall, following the North American premiere of his dramatic film After the Hunt , in which Roberts stars as a Yale philosophy professor whose life is upended by a student (Ayo Edebiri) who accuses her friend and colleague (Andrew Garfield) of sexual harassment. The affection and shine continued during a Q&A moderated by NYFF artistic director Dennis Lim, in the glow of a Rolex clock, as the director said he was “sparkled by dynamism in the script” and Roberts revealed that when she read it, she thought “what a mountain to climb; it’s such a Herculean idea,” but signed on once she found out Guadagnino was at the helm. “I felt only equipped in his skilled hands to do a part like this,” said the Oscar winner. “I couldn’t have done it without him.” Guadagnino, in turn, told the

LinkedIn is expanding its AI training to member profiles in the EU | Mashable

In late 2024, LinkedIn started using member profiles to train its AI. At the time, this was restricted to only certain areas, such as the U.S. and other countries. One year later, LinkedIn is now adding all of the regions that weren’t previously included. Once the change goes into effect, everyone’s profile on LinkedIn may be used to train the site’s generative AI.  The announcement came quietly, like the one in 2024. LinkedIn updated its generative AI FAQ webpage to include the new rules. The new rules are the same as the old rules, except they now apply to the UK, EU, European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and basically everywhere else that wasn’t impacted by the initial changes in 2024.  LinkedIn will start using member profile data to train its AI on Nov. 3, 2025. This setting is enabled by default, so if you don’t want your data being used to train LinkedIn’s AI, you’ll need to manually log in and opt out of it. Profiles for members under the age of 18 won’t be used for training purposes at all.  If anyone is curious about how LinkedIn will use the data and what data the company intends to use
