Some organizations are starting to see benefits, but others are still struggling to capture value and, in some cases, have pulled back after unsuccessful deployments. To help reduce risks and increase success, McKinsey shares six lessons for implementing agentic AI. While all are useful, two that stand out are: focus on workflows, not just agents, since lasting value comes from redesigning end-to-end workflows (people, processes, and tools) rather than building agents that look impressive but don’t improve the work; and recognizing that agents aren’t always the answer, as simpler approaches like automation, rules, or analytics can sometimes be more effective, particularly in standardized, low-variance workflows (e.g., regulatory disclosures). The superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools was arrested after federal agents discovered he was in the country illegally with a deportation order — and in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a hunting knife, authorities said. Ian Andre Roberts, originally from Guyana, was taken into custody on Friday during a targeted enforcement operation, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in Des Moines. “ICE Des Moines today arrested Ian Andre Roberts, a criminal illegal alien from Guyana in possession of a loaded handgun, $3,000 in cash and a fixed blade hunting knife,” the agency said. The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) has expressed concern about the business-orientated social networking service LinkedIn’s plans to use members’ personal data to train AI models, and has urged users in the Netherlands to adjust their settings before November 3, 2025 to opt out.  LinkedIn to use user data to train its own AI LinkedIn recently announced plans to use user data in Europe to train its own artificial intelligence system, starting from November 3, 2025. According to LinkedIn, this includes profile information, including your name and information about your work and education , location, and skills, as well as any public content you have shared, such as posts, articles, comments and posts. 2025 CA Special Election - November 4, 2025 The 2025 California Special Election will be held on November 4, 2025. The 2025 California “special election” is to decide whether to temporarily change California’s Congressional voting districts through 2030 and then give map-drawing back to the Citizens Redistricting Commission in 2031.
