In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump criticized Welker for being purposefully inaccurate in her description of his endorsement outcomes.  Trump also asserted his record stands at 100% for U.S. Senate candidates and 98% for U.S. House candidates, figures he described as accurate over the long term. The comments in question were made by Welker during a pre-show segment on WRC-TV, NBC’s affiliate in Washington, D.C., according to reporting by CNN. Trump called on FCC Chair Brendan Carr and other commissioners to address the matter, describing the media coverage as a “threat to our country.” He questioned how such statements should be permitted on “freely given public airwaves” and requested the commission consider “rebuke or punishment.” While Trump stated his endorsements are “stronger than ever,” recent election cycles have yielded varied outcomes.  Candidates such as Sen. Why Owner of ‘Heated Rivalry’ Cottage Did Some “Soul Searching” Before Agreeing to Season 2

Logo text The owner of the cottage made famous in Heated Rivalry season one says he needed to do some “soul searching” before allowing production to return for season two. During a recent interview with HGTV, Michael Kutryk revealed that he was contacted about filming for the highly anticipated second season, which got underway earlier this month. However, he said it wasn’t an immediate yes. “I did a little bit of soul searching about allowing them to come back,” he shared. “I know they need it, and I realize I be difficult and try to squeeze them, but I bring myself to do that. When they called, they said, ‘How much do you want?’ First, I told them they scratched my table, then I named a very reasonable price. They were shocked and appreciative. I actually didn’t even get them to replace my table.” In season one of HBO Max and Crave’s breakout queer hockey romance, the cottage served as the emotional backdrop for a major turning point. When Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) invited his secret lover, Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), to his private cottage for a two-week stay of uninterrupted alone time together, it led to them

AG Sunday announces new Snapchat lawsuit | Technology – NorthcentralPA.com

Attorney General Sunday points to a display board listing inappropriate content commonly found on Snapchat. Commonwealth Media Services Harrisburg, Pa. — Just after reaching a settlement with Meta, Pa. Attorney General Dave Sunday has announced the filing of a lawsuit against Snap, Inc., the owner-operators of Snapchat. Sunday alleges that the social media giant failed to warn users about platform addictiveness and protect children from compulsive use. In a Complaint for Declaratory and Injunctive Relief filed in Philadelphia County Court, the Office of Attorney General demands changes in how Snapchat appears on app stores, and demands that the company take steps to protect young users from becoming addicted to the app. The complaint alleges that Snapchat lies about how often adult-themed material such as sexual content and nudity, suicidal ideation, and drug use appears on its platform to maintain an age-13+ app rating in stores. “Snapchat has designed its platform to lure children into constant, compulsive use that is detrimental to healthy adolescent development,” said AG Sunday. “This lawsuit demands that Snapchat finally admit publicly that its platform is highly addictive and that it takes real action to keep kids safe.” Earlier this month, Sunday announced similar litigation against TikTok.

Luis Rengifo Injured: Padres Utility Player Returns to San Diego for Evaluation – AOL.com

Sun, August 30, 2026 at 3:00 PM UTC Luis Rengifo’s strong start with the San Diego Padres has been interrupted by an unfortunate injury at a crucial point in the season. The utility infielder suffered a right knee sprain during Saturday’s 7-6 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays, forcing him to leave the team and return to San Diego for further medical evaluation. The Padres announced the injury on their official X account Sunday. Rengifo suffered the injury on a non-contact play in the seventh inning, and the club will now wait for additional testing to determine the severity of the issue. The timing is particularly unfortunate for Rengifo, who had provided a noticeable offensive boost since joining San Diego earlier this season. After hitting just .205 across 57 games with the Milwaukee Brewers, Rengifo has produced a .291 average and .375 on-base percentage in 38 games with the Padres. His versatility has also made him a useful piece for a San Diego team trying to remain in the National League postseason picture.  » Read More
