Cecily Strong and hosting an MTV dating competition? Sort of. Saturday Night Live swiped right on What’s Your Type?, an “MTV Digital Original Production”, a format that you can imagine has been pitched around town. Imagine a cross between The Dating Game and Are You The One? Strong played Snapchat star “Tampa Bay Jenae”, a girl “who got famous for pulling her buttcheeks apart on Snapchat”, while Ego Nwodim was the show’s DJ. Regina King played Kendra, marketing supervisor from Oakland, looking for a “cringey white dude in his 40s”. Introducing Matt Stainer, who loves Kamala Harris and RBG, Link Bronwin, a fan of Black History Month, and the fedora-wearing, Spin Doctors singing Kevin Farkiss. As Strong said to the latter “We have to pay money when you sing these songs, so please stop”, which is probably quite close to the truth. “I’m a puddle,” admits King’s Kendra. With zillions of sites in the digital universe, standing out isn’t easy. Finding names that are unique and memorable can be a real challenge. February 14, 2021 / 10:39 AM IST Founded in March 2020 by Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka, Koo can be used to express views and opinions on various topics much like Twitter. Where on earth did koo come from? Not the company. We know that the homegrown microblogging platform was launched in March 2020 by serial entrepreneurs Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka. But the name Koo?Where did that come from?Is it onomatopoeic, from the call of the koel that most Indian of birds celebrated equally in music and poetry. Or is it even deeper, mined from India's rich past in keeping with the spirit of the endeavour. Perhaps it is a Sanskrit derivation, from nikūjitam, meaning vibrated. If so, the founders have chosen wisely. To take on the likes of Twitter, Atmanirbhar Bharat's play has to be a name that is shorter and equally mysterious, at least to the uninitiated.Twitter’s naamkaran, by contrast, was far more pedestrian. Its founder Jack Dorsey told New York Public Radio in a 2011 interview that it originated from how a person's phone would buzz/jitter/twitch…

But when going themonochromatic route for either the red carpet or work events, her checklist includesminimal accessories, a statement jewellery piece and often, a strong red lip. Case in point, she posted a picture of herself dressed up for a Zoom party in an all-black ensemble. Earlier on the same day, she posted another picture of herself hanging out with her girl gang in an easy going ensemble—an oversized striped white shirt, cotton palazzos and white sneakers. Just before Impact Wrestling’s exclusive event, No Surrender went off the air, the company teased that the former IWGP Tag Team Champions, FinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson), are now on their way to Impact Wrestling this Tuesday. With the forbidden door now open between AEW/NJPW/Impact, anything goes as to who will show up in each company. For Robinson and Finlay, this will be the first time either man has worked for Impact. Finlay has been a part of NJPW Strong here in the states since it launched in August. Robinson, on the other hand, was out with a fractured orbital bone injury since December. This cost him an opportunity to face KENTA at Wrestle Kingdom 15 for the No. 1 Contender spot to Jon Moxley’s IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. The door has been kicked open. #NoSurrender @THEdavidfinlay @njpw1972 @njpwglobal pic.twitter.com/igo7q9CAJV — IMPACT (@IMPACTWRESTLING) February 14, 2021 David Finlay and Juice Robinson are coming to the Impact Zone!
