Hundreds of horrific images of children appeared on Meta platforms – SFGATE

Morning traffic passes the headquarters of Meta, the corporate offices of Facebook and Instagram, in Menlo Park, Calif., on Oct. 29, 2025. MattGush/Getty Images Editor’s note: This story contains descriptions of sexual violence against children. If you or someone you know needs help, please call the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline at 800-656-4673 in the U.S. Hundreds of paid advertisements containing disturbing images of children engaging in sex acts appeared on Meta platforms this year, a lengthy new report from a tech industry watchdog says.  Article continues below this ad According to a Sept. 8 report from the Tech Transparency Project, researchers found more than 300 ads containing child sexual abuse material on Facebook and Instagram this year. Most of the children depicted in the ads were digitally altered with artificial intelligence tools to make them appear as though they were engaging in sex acts, the report said, and the ads sometimes contained animations of real children. Researchers identified a child in a European royal family, as well as a 14-year-old influencer, and discovered that most of these ads promoted Chinese apps capable of “nudifying” subjects.   Out of 332 ads on Meta containing explicit images of children, 298 promoted image- and video-editing

5 Best Places to Buy LinkedIn Followers & Likes (Real, Fast, Safe) | Muddy River Sports

If you want to buy LinkedIn followers or likes, the provider you choose matters more than the number you order. I have compared five established services based on the things I would actually look at before placing an order: follower quality, delivery speed, pricing, account security, guarantees, customer support and overall value. Quick Pick My top choice is BoostMe, thanks to its unusually strong combination of transparent pricing, LinkedIn-specific services, fast delivery, refill protection and customer support. The other four are worth considering too, particularly if you want a different balance of price, targeting or service range. 1. BoostMe : Best place to buy LinkedIn followers and likes overall If I were choosing one provider from this list to get more LinkedIn followers , BoostMe would be my top recommendation. What immediately separates BoostMe is how clearly the service is presented. Instead of hiding the cost behind a quote or forcing you to navigate a complicated ordering process, BoostMe publishes its LinkedIn follower packages and prices upfront. Pricing and packages BoostMe offers transparent pricing structures with multiple tiers designed to provide a balance of quality, delivery speed, and secure growth for your LinkedIn profile. That makes the per-100 price progressively

What Brian has learned about collaboration and impact at Yelp | Yelp – Official Blog

Brian joined Yelp as an engineering intern in spring 2019. Seven years later, he’s an iOS engineer whose code shows up in the everyday moments diners and restaurant owners experience on Yelp. Today, Brian is sharing what that path has looked like, and why curiosity has been the throughline all along. Q: Tell us about your journey at Yelp. A: I joined Yelp as an engineering intern in spring 2019, building the onboarding experience for what’s now Guest Manager — the app restaurants use to run their front-of-house. I came back full-time that fall as an iOS engineer and have been on the restaurant side ever since, across three teams. I’m now on the Guest Experience Management team. Seven years, three teams, one constant: restaurants and the people who eat at them. First, I was focused on the tools restaurants use and now I’m focused on the experience diners have. What’s changed is the scope. From shipping my first onboarding screens to leading architecture work like our Kiosk network-layer refactor, I enjoy helping shape where our restaurant apps go next. Q: Tell us about your role at Yelp. What are you and your team responsible for? A: I’m an iOS
